Kids Rock the Kitchen offers a fun and interactive Easter cooking experience for children from Prep to Grade 5. In this hands-on class, kids will bake and take home three delicious Easter treats: Easter Egg Rocky Road, Hot Cross Bun Bread and Butter Pudding, and Easter Marshmallow Slice. Alongside baking, children will enjoy Easter Karaoke, adding an extra layer of fun to the session. With step-by-step guidance, they’ll develop kitchen skills, build confidence, and create tasty treats to share with family. Tis the season for another KRTK Cooking Class, fa la la la. These holidays, the Intermediates will rise to the challenge to cook up some good old fashioned Christmas Classics. Parent's your job is to book them in and judge whether it passes the traditional flavor test, by consuming their handicraft. It is a difficult task for both ;) The items on the menu for these holidays are... 1) Spinach and Fetta Christmas Tree Pull-apart 2) Fruit Mince Pies 3. It's the most wonderful time of year!!! As Christmas approaches, that means it is time for some of the BEST cooking classes of the year. CHRISTMAS CLASSES! These holidays, the beginner budding chefs will get to cook, decorate and devour some Christmas Cookies, as well as making sure there is enough to go in some Christmas Gift Packs to give to family and friends! Christmas Gifts for the family sorted, craving for cookies curbed and holiday activity for the kids booked! That sounds like a school holiday success ! MMmmmmm. There is nothing better than the smell of a good curry in the air!! These holidays, the Intermediates will get to make an Indian Feast for the whole family to come and enjoy afterwards! The items on the Menu are Main: Butter Chicken and Coconut rice Sides: Naan bread, mango chutney and raita Dessert: Rice Pudding Dinner serves 5 family members and will begin at 5:45 pm.
These holidays, KRTK is excited to announce that their Beginner Italian Twilight Night has returned!! Budding chefs will get to prepare and cook an Italian Feast for the whole family to enjoy after the class. The items on the menu are… Entree: Tomato and Basil Bruschetta. Main: Gourmet Homemade Pizzas. Dessert: Tiramisu. Dinner made will serve 5 people and begin at 5:00pm. We look forward to cooking up a feast!! This class is suitable for Grades Prep- 4
Join the KRTK crew to cook up a storm for Redlands College’s Freeze It Forward program. A fun afternoon (1-5pm), rocking in the Redlands College kitchens, cooking delicious and nutritious meals for families in our community that are in need. The ticketed price covers the cost of ingredients and at the end of the session you’ll be able to take a meal home for your family! This class is available to parents, teachers and students(Middle/Senior School students) with cooking experience.
The Easter Holidays are fast approaching and that means it is almost time for another KRTK Easter Special Cooking Class. These holidays, we have some choc-tastic treats on the beginner menu! 1) Easter Egg Rocky Road 2) Hot Cross Bun Bread and Butter Pudding 3) Easter Bunny Cupcakes. This year, the holiday dates are a little bit different. We will be running the class after Easter, which means the budding chefs can bring their Easter Haul along to include in the baking. As the new school year approaches, so does the daunting question of, 'What do I put in the school lunches?' Fear not parents, the only question you will be having this coming school year is 'Are there any KRTK treats left for my lunchbox?' The answer will most definitley be yes. These holidays the budding chefs will get to make 4 tatsy lunchbox treats to take home, freeze and then put in their lunchboxes. We will also send home the recipes so your budding chef/s can replicate these scrumptious snacks at home. The items on the menu are 1) Fruit Juice Jelly Cups 2) Lunchbox scrolls 3) Smartie Snack Cookies 4) Houmouss and Veg Pack This class is suitable for All Ages!
