Kids Rock the Kitchen is excited to announce that this year we are bringing back the Redlands College Staff Cooking Class—and this time, it’s Christmas Edition! For just a small fee of $20 to cover ingredients, you’ll enjoy a festive night of baking, laughter, and a chance to swap your everyday roles for aprons and mixing bowls. We’ll guide you step by step through some Christmas classics, and by the end of the night, you’ll have a tray of homemade treats to show off (and, of course, taste-test!). On the merry menu: Fruit Mince Pies Iced Sugar Cookies We’re looking forward to a night where the Redlands College staff get to relax, roll up their sleeves, and have some fun together. Join us these school holidays for our Italiano Twilight Night - Family Feast, designed especially for young chefs in Grades Prep–9 to attend! Budding cooks will chop, stir, and create as they prepare a full Italian Feast for their families to enjoy. Along the way, they’ll learn practical cooking skills, build confidence in the kitchen, and experience the pride of serving dinner they made themselves. On the menu: Entree: Tomato & Basil Bruschetta Main: Gourmet Homemade Pizzas Dessert: Classic Tiramisu The class begins at 2:00pm, and by 5:00pm, families will sit down together to enjoy a delicious meal made entirely by the kids. Join the KRTK crew to cook up a storm for Redlands College’s Freeze It Forward program. A fun afternoon rocking in the Redlands College kitchens, cooking delicious and nutritious meals for families in our community that are in need. The ticketed price covers the cost of ingredients and at the end of the session you’ll be able to take a meal home for your family! This class is available to parents, teachers and student s(Middle/Senior School students) with cooking experience.

Join us for a hands-on Easter baking workshop designed for budding chefs in Grade 5 and above! They’ll mix, knead, and decorate as they create three delicious Easter treats: Easter Egg Cheesecakes, Fresh Cream Buns, and Hot Cross Buns. This class is all about having fun in the kitchen while learning useful baking skills. Budding chefs will get plenty of guidance, but they'll also have the freedom to get creative. These holidays, the beginner budding chefs will get to cook, decorate and devour some Christmas Cookies, as well as making sure there is enough to go in some Christmas Gift Packs to give to family and friends! MMmmmmm. There is nothing better than the smell of a good curry in the air!! These holidays, the Intermediates will get to make an Indian Feast for the whole family to come and enjoy afterwards! The items on the Menu are Main: Butter Chicken and Coconut rice Sides: Naan bread, mango chutney and raita Dessert: Rice Pudding Dinner serves 5 family members and will begin at 5:45 pm.

The Easter Holidays are fast approaching and that means it is almost time for another KRTK Easter Special Cooking Class. These holidays, we have some choc-tastic treats on the beginner menu! 1) Easter Egg Rocky Road 2) Hot Cross Bun Bread and Butter Pudding 3) Easter Bunny Cupcakes. This year, the holiday dates are a little bit different. We will be running the class after Easter, which means the budding chefs can bring their Easter Haul along to include in the baking. All the chocolate out of the house for the parents and a chocolate feast for the kids. Its a win-win! This class is suitable for Grade Prep - 4

As the new school year approaches, so does the daunting question of, 'What do I put in the school lunches?' Fear not parents, the only question you will be having this coming school year is 'Are there any KRTK treats left for my lunchbox?' The answer will most definitley be yes. These holidays the budding chefs will get to make 4 tatsy lunchbox treats to take home, freeze and then put in their lunchboxes. We will also send home the recipes so your budding chef/s can replicate these scrumptious snacks at home. The items on the menu are 1) Fruit Juice Jelly Cups 2) Lunchbox scrolls 3) Smartie Snack Cookies 4) Houmouss and Veg Pack This class is suitable for All Ages!
